Prerequisites: To make a payment following a failed autopayment attempt, you must have:
Account Manager access, and
A credit card set as your payment method in your GlobalVetLink (GVL) account.
Making a payment within your GVL account
From the home screen, click Manage Billing Details
(found under the Billing Details section on the right side of the screen).
Under Account Balance, if a balance is owed, the current amount will be displayed.
Below the balance, click Pay Now (shown in blue) to make a payment.
If the payment is successful, your account balance will display $0.
If there is an error with the payment, a message will appear above the balance, indicating the reason for the failure (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds)
Once payment is processed, a payment confirmation email will be sent to the accounts payable email on file.
Important Notes:
The Pay Now feature can be used even if the account is on autopay — this is especially helpful if the credit card on file needed to be updated.
The Pay Now feature will only be available if there was a previous failed payment attempt, such as an expired credit card.
If you choose not to use Pay Now and the account is on autopay, the balance will be charged the next time autopayments are collected by the finance team.
If Your Account is Restricted:
If your account was restricted due to months of overdue balance, please follow these steps:
Update your payment method if needed.
See: Adding or Editing a Card Payment Method in Your GVL Account
Pay the outstanding balance using Pay Now.
Once payment is completed, your account will be immediately restored, you will regain the ability to sign certificates, and your account will function normally with full access to services restored.
