What about authenticity? Can a practitioner change an EIA once it has been resulted by the lab, or an eCVI once it has been signed?

GVL certificates are secure and cannot be altered after the document is finalized.

  • EIAs will need to be voided and resubmitted to the laboratory if errors are found. Based on the laboratory’s regulations, the lab may be able to use the same blood sample.
  • CVIs, EECVIs, VFDs, Scripts and ForSale documents will need to be voided and recreated to correct any errors.
