Ensure your National Accreditation Number is up to date

After September 1, 2020 if your information in GVL (last name and/or NAN) does not match the information on the NVAP website, you will not be able to sign certificates through GVL.

In order to be in compliance, the information (last name and NAN) in your GVL profile must match the information on the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP) website. To ensure your information is correct, please follow these steps:

  • First, visit the NVAP website to verify that your information is correct. If the information is incorrect, work with your NVAP Coordinator to have it corrected.

  • After verifying your information on the NVAP website, ensure that the information in your GVL profile is an exact match. If the information is not an exact match, update your last name and/or NAN in your GVL profile.

  • If the information (NAN number and/or last name) in your GVL profile does not match the information on the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP) website, you will also be prompted to update the information at login and before you can sign a certificate.

This added process helps you stay in compliance when writing CVIs, EIAs and other certificates.

Your last name and NAN must match the information on the NVAP website by September 1, 2020 in order to continue signing certificates through the GVL platform.
