If the AQS-279 form and rabies certificates are required at least 30 days before arrival in Kahului, Kona, and Lihue, when does the veterinarian need to complete the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI)?

Inspection must be done within 14 days of arrival to Hawaii. It is recommended to check with airlines, as some require the CVI to be dated within 10 days of arrival.

The Hawaii Health Certificate will be in the “Awaiting Inspection” tab, allowing them to complete the CVI within the required timeframe.
