As a veterinarian, you may encounter a situation where someone other than the client needs access to an animal's documents. This could be a trainer, boarding facility, or transporter. Agents have the ability to be linked by you, the veterinarians, to any animal they need access to. Once they are linked, they are able to see that animal's information and GVL documents in their MyVetLink agent account.
Creating an Agent Account
Before you can link animals to an agent account, the agent must create their agent account. Direct them to MyVetLink.com to register for an Agent account.
-
Once they are at MyVetLink.com, they will choose the "Sign Up for MyVetLink".
-
At the top of the registration page they will select the "Animal Agent" option.
-
They will input their information.
-
Once the contact information is complete, they will enter their email address, create a password, agree to the terms of service, and click "Register."
-
They will then complete their account set up by following verification instructions. This step is very important. They must go to their email to verify their account.
