Do I have to use an ISO compliant (11784 or 11785) microchip?

Yes - The 15 digit ISO pet microchip is the world standard. Some countries may allow a 10 digit microchip, however to ensure there are no issues while traveling, it is highly recommended to have the 15 digit ISO compliant microchip. If your pet already has a 10 digit chip, you can still implant a 15 digit microchip.
