How to Search for an Address in GlobalVetLink

1. Log into GlobalVetLink.
2. Navigate to Records or begin creating a certificate.
3. Create a new contact/location, or select an existing one to edit.
4. In the “Address Line 1” field, start typing the desired address.
5. A drop-down list will appear with address suggestions. Click on the correct address from the list.
6. When you select a validated address, GVL automatically populates Address Line 1, City, State/Province, Postal Code, and County (U.S. addresses only)
7. Click Save.

Important notes:

• GVL supports both U.S. and international address searches.
  • If “United States” is selected as the country, GVL will only return U.S. addresses.
  • If an international country is selected, GVL will return address suggestions relevant to that country.
    • Note: Some countries are not supported by our address lookup provider. If you're searching for an address in one of the countries listed below, suggestions will not appear, and the address will need to be entered manually:
      • Cruise Ship
      • Dutch Caribbean
      • French West Indies
      • Kosovo
      • Marshall Islands
      • Micronesia
      • Palau
• County is not included for international addresses because this field is specific to U.S. entries.
