Provet Cloud Installation Instructions

Step 1: Enable Integration in Provet Cloud

1. Log in to your Provet Cloud account.
2. In the left menu, go to Settings > Integrations.
3. Scroll down to Open API access and click Add application.
4. Select the GlobalVetLink Health Certificates option and hit Save.

Step 2: Provet Cloud Set Up Permissions

1. In Provet Cloud, navigate to Settings > Users > Permission Groups.
2. Click + Group, name your group, and click Save.
3. After adding the group, click the Permissions icon.
4. In the Permissions section, enable Read and Write access for:
   • Patients and Clients
   • Consultations and Items
   • Adding Clinical Notes on Consultations
   • Adding Notes and Communication
   • Users
   • Edit notes, discharge instructions, and clinical notes made by other users
     • Note: Enable only Write access for this section.
5. Click Save.

Step 3: Provet Cloud Configure Custom Integrations

1. Return to Settings > Integrations and select Custom Integrations.
2. Click + Add and create a Custom Integration for each GlobalVetLink certificate type, then hit Save:
   • GlobalVetLink CVI
     • Visible page: Patient
     • Action: Open in new window
     • HTTP method: GET
     • URL: https://user.globalvetlink.com/gvl2/app/provet/cvi
     • Parameter name: animalid
   • GlobalVetLink IHC
     • Visible page: Patient

Step 4: Provet Cloud Set Up Permissions

1. On the Users page, select the Virtual Users tab.
2. Click the edit icon on the user with First name: Integration and Last name: GlobalVetLink Health Certificates.
3. Change the default permission group to GlobalVetLink Health Certificates.

Step 5: Finalize Integration in GlobalVetLink

1. Log in to your GlobalVetLink account.
   • Important Note: To streamline the integration setup, ensure your Provet Cloud profile email matches your GlobalVetLink email. If they don’t match, the integration will still work, but additional verification steps will be required.
2. Click your initials in the bottom-left corner and select Clinic.
3. On the Clinic page, scroll to the bottom and click Edit.
4. In the Integrations section:
   • Check Provet Cloud
   • Enter your Provet Cloud ID
   • Click Verify
5. Once successful, click Save.
