The Rabies Reporting feature is designed to streamline compliance and significantly reduce the time clinics spend reporting rabies data to local authorities. According to the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians (NAPHV), 27 states currently have mandatory rabies reporting requirements. Depending on the state, reporting may be necessary at the state, county, or municipal level. When enabled on a clinic’s account, the Rabies Reporting feature automatically sends the required data and/or certificates to the appropriate municipality, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
