Yes. GVL works with state animal health officials (SAHOs) during disease outbreaks to modify requirements listed in SmartEngine and on Animalregs.com, such as inspection timelines or supplementary remarks needed when an outbreak is present. The GVL platform may also contain additional pop-up notifications.
Some examples of disease outbreaks include Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV), Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI), African Swine Fever, and Brucellosis.
