If a pending (not yet resulted) Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) test has a mistake, is a duplicate or the test may never have been completed, the laboratory technician can send back the test in GlobalVetLink to the originating veterinary clinic.
How to send back a pending Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) test to a clinic in your laboratory technician account.
1. In your Inbox, click the Tube number of the pending test.
2. Once in the pending test, click the 'Send back' button at the top right corner.
3. When the pop-up appears, enter a reason for why the test is being sent back to the veterinary clinic. Click the 'Send back' button.
4. Once you send back the test, it will be removed from your inbox and will be available for the originating veterinary clinic in their GlobalVetLink account.
