Veterinarians cannot delete certificates once they have been signed. If a completed certificate contains an error, you will need to void the certificate.
Important: Voiding or deleting a certificate cannot be reversed. Before proceeding, confirm with all applicable parties that the certificate should be voided or deleted.
Do not void an EIA certificate without first confirming with the laboratory.
How to Void a Certificate
- Copy or write down the complete certificate number.
- Select Find Certificates from the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click Void Certificate in the upper-right corner.
- Enter the required information. Be sure to include the certificate number’s prefix and dashes.
- Click Void.
How to Delete an EIA Awaiting Lab Approval
If an EIA certificate contains an error and is still awaiting lab approval, it may be deleted:
- Go to the Awaiting Lab Approval tab under EIAs.
- Locate the certificate.
- Click Actions on the far-right side of the page.
- Select Delete.
